Amber Heard Has No New Movies Lined Up After Changing Her Name And Moving To Spain

After her trial, Amber Heard seemed to have faded from the public eye.

Following her widely reported legal battle with Johnny Depp, fans may be disappointed if they were hoping to see Amber Heard return to the big screen.

Heard appears to have abandoned her Hollywood profession for the time being and moved to Spain with her small daughter.

In an attempt to avoid the spotlight after the dramatic trial, she has even gone so far as to take on a new identity.

Fluent in Spanish, Heard went to Madrid with her kid after the trial concluded.

According to reports, she took the action to get away from Hollywood and avoid the criticism.

Before her genuine identity was made public by the local media, she lived under a false identity and was first seen in a peaceful Mallorcan village.

She has now moved to Madrid and doesn’t seem to have any plans to visit Los Angeles again anytime soon.

 

 

Her IMDB profile, which now shows no planned projects, further emphasizes this change in her life.

After losing a slander case that Depp had filed in the US, Heard moved to Spain.

The complaint was based on Heard’s 2018 Washington Post op-ed in which she claimed to have been the victim of domestic abuse.

Heard sued Depp for defamation even though he did not specifically mention her in the piece.

Heard retaliated by countersuing Depp for $100 million, which resulted in a trial that attracted international notice.

In the end, the jury decided in favor of portions of Heard’s countersuit as well as Depp’s initial accusations.

Heard moved to Spain because it was thought that all pending settlements pertaining to the case had been reached by the end of 2022.

In 2022, a person close to Heard told PEOPLE: “She is concentrating on parenting her daughter. She is with her girl every day.

“They enjoy family time, go to parks, and take walks. Amber is an excellent mother.

 

 

 

Heard isn’t mentioned for any upcoming acting roles, so it doesn’t look like he’ll be back on screen anytime soon.

According to reports, the performer took on the moniker Martha Jane Cannary in homage to the well-known Old West American sniper Calamity Jane.

Regarding her name choice, El Diario de Mallorca wrote: “The choice of this identity, which appears at the entrance of her new Mallorcan home, draws much attention.”

“Especially as Johnny Depp always maintained that his family trace their roots to ancient Native American tribes and that his great-great-grandmother was Cherokee.”
