Angelina Jolie’s rarely seen son Knox looks just like a young Brad Pitt

Angelina Jolie looked every inch the proud mom as she beamed alongside her son, Knox Jolie-Pitt, at the Governors Ball on Sunday

The Oscar-winning actress, 48, and her handsome 16-year-old son—whom she shares with ex Brad Pitt—took over the red carpet at the Ray Dolby Ballroom, effortlessly commanding attention with their striking style.

The couple mixed with a number of celebrities from Hollywood, such as Elizabeth Olsen, Nicole Kidman, Demi Moore, and Pamela Anderson.

Filmmakers Richard Curtis, casting director Juliet Taylor, James Bond producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson, and the late Quincy Jones are all being honored at the event, which is organized by the Academy’s board of governors.

Angelina’s appearance coincides with her ongoing promotion of her most recent movie, Maria, a biopic about opera icon Maria Callas that is already generating Oscar talk.

Callas’s ultimate decline in Paris in the 1970s is depicted in the film Maria, which was directed by Jackie Larrain.

With only one sentence, fans have demanded that the actress win an Oscar: I am so incredibly excited to see this film! Really, Angelina Jolie’s portrayal of Maria is going to blow me away. She’s going to win the Oscar.

An further person begged the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Science to simply “award Angelina the Oscar for her portrayal of Maria Callas already.”

A third joked that they were already planned on “running the Angelina Jolie Oscar campaign,” despite acknowledging they hadn’t yet seen the teaser.

“The trailer for Maria is stunning.” A fourth tweeted, “Give Angelina Jolie the Oscar already; I’ve seen enough.”

A summary states that Maria ‘follows the American-Greek soprano as she retires to Paris after a glamorous and difficult existence in the public eye.’

As the diva wrestles with her identity and life, the movie attempts to “reimagine the legendary soprano in her final days.”

She passed away at the age of 53 from a heart attack in Paris in 1977.

The eagerly awaited film will be available for viewing in theaters in November and on Netflix in December.

Before making its Netflix premiere on the streaming service on December 11, the movie will be released in cinemas across the United States on November 27.

In the 1999 psychological thriller Girl, Interrupted, the mother of six played Lisa Rowe, a diagnosed psychopath, and earned an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress.

Her performance as Christine Collins in the mystery crime thriller Changeling earned her a nomination for the 2008 Academy Award for Best Actress.

Marion Cotillard, a French actress, won for her major part in La Vie en Rose, although she lost.

Jolie has won several accolades over her career, including a Tony Award, two Screen Actors Guild Awards, and three Golden Globes.

Jolie won her first Tony over the summer, putting her halfway to EGOT status.

One of the most prominent organizations in American entertainment is the EGOT, and numerous celebrities are only one win away from earning the esteemed honor.

Those who have won all four of the major American performance prizes are designated with the acronym, which stands for Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony prizes.

Only 21 people have accomplished the feat, and Jolie only needs to win an Emmy and a Grammy to do it.
