Anna Kendrick donated entire profit of Netflix film to charity as it made her feel ‘gross’

Anna Kendrick made the charitable decision to give all of the money made from her most recent Netflix movie.

The actress is the lead in Netflix’s Woman of the Hour, a film that chronicles a series of murders carried out by infamous serial murderer Rodney Alcala. She is most recognized for her part in the 2012 blockbuster Pitch Perfect.

At least eight women were stalked and killed by Alcala in the 1970s, but investigators believe the number is far lower. The predator may also have been responsible for 122 additional murders.

Woman of the Hour centers on a single aspect of Alcala’s life: his appearance on the television program The Dating Game, when he attempted to capture the affections of Sheryl, a young woman played by Kendrick.
