As her Australian visa is cancelled, we reveal how Bonnie Blue went from being a young wife who’d only slept with a few men to making sleazy ‘barely legal’ sex films

British OnlyFans ‘content producer’ Bonnie Blue has just finished shooting a marathon sex session with thirty-two school leavers as the sun sets on a day loaded with alcohol during the first weekend of Schoolies celebrations in Surfers Paradise, on Queensland’s gorgeous Gold Coast.

While cameras rolled around the area, young males between the ages of 18 and 19 waited in line outside Bonnie’s hotel room for four debauched hours to have sex with her. The males didn’t pay a dime for the quick and uncomfortable intercourse, but Bonnie will be able to post it online and benefit from her 180,000 subscribers.

Boy No. 32 has cleaned up and gone off at the end of the’shoot’, and she is exhausted and aching. She reports, “I have fluid coming out of my ears.”

A year ago, that was. Bonnie had promised that the sequel would be even more ridiculous and had scheduled her return to the Gold Coast for round two in a few days. However, in an unexpected last-minute decision, her visa was revoked on Friday.

For weeks, the explosive rise of Bonnie Blue (a pseudonym since she is reticent about her own name) has dominated headlines in Australia and Britain. She claims to make up to $300,000 a month selling her X-rated content on OnlyFans, where her 2023 Schoolies stunt has helped her rise to the top of the earnings rankings.

According to a company representative, OnlyFans has accumulated 305 million fan accounts and four million creative accounts since its launch. Because of their modest followings, the majority of the ‘creators’ make less than the average pay; fame is necessary to make a name for oneself and accumulate the wealth Bonnie possesses.

She tells me that being’relatable’ is the key to her success. The audience can ‘picture themselves in those scenarios with me’ through her videos.

During Freshers’ Week at Nottingham Trent University in the UK, Bonnie Blue, the “creator” of British OnlyFans, had sex with 158 “barely legal” teenage lads. Her visa was abruptly revoked on Friday while she was organizing a similar prank for Schoolies on the Gold Coast.

According to Lucy Manly, the explosive rise of Bonnie Blue (a pseudonym since she is reticent about her own name) has dominated headlines in Australia and Britain for weeks.

In 2020, the 25-year-old’s life took a significant turn when she chose to earn extra money from her full-time job in recruitment by performing on webcams.

‘I got to a point in my life understanding I would be doing this job up until I retire unless I make a major shift,’ she reveals.

‘I wasn’t motivated and I didn’t want to keep going to the office and working for someone else, getting told I would only have 22 days annual leave a year and be stuck on a restricted income.’

Her marriage split the following year – she doesn’t discuss much about her ex-husband – and, in 2022, she went from webcams to the main adult creative site, OnlyFans.

That decision was a turning point in her life.

In my years as a journalist, I’ve encountered my fair number of OnlyFans creators. One thing they constantly tell me is that it’s a slippery slope from the ‘implied nude’ selfies they publish to begin with towards the more extreme content that is required to keep customers paying. The customer may be satisfied by ‘softcore’ content at the outset, but their attention rapidly wanes unless you constantly pushing the edge.

‘Before I began OnlyFans I’d only slept with five individuals, now I’d guess it’s somewhere between 500 and 700 men,’ Bonnie adds, although she confesses that’s a ballpark figure and she couldn’t really say for sure.

‘If I was to fall pregnant, I’d never know who the father was. I wouldn’t even recognise them if they walked past me on the street,’ she chuckles.

Bonnie’s carefree attitude about having sex on camera with hundreds of men is startling at first. But she’s also nice and disarmingly courteous. Chatting on the phone and exchanging WhatsApp voice notes, it’s hard not to like her.

I hear she came from a rural village near Derby, a place in England near Nottingham – the university town where she would attain notoriety for one of her sex marathons with teenage males during Freshers’ Week.

To my surprise, she’s incredibly close to her family. Despite their initial reluctance to hear about her adult career, they have reportedly been supportive, despite their preference that she choose a different route.

She informs me about her upbringing, saying, “My childhood was very normal, there wasn’t any trauma or “daddy issues” which everyone online assumes.”

Bonnie was determined to make her most recent trip to the Gold Coast the most profitable yet before her visa was revoked, and she had even teamed up with Annie Knight, another content provider.

“I grew up working class: my dad worked multiple jobs day and night to support our family, and I’ll always be so grateful for that,” she continues. “No one in my family went to college.”

Bonnie claims that after receiving an anonymous social media clip of one of her films, her parents found out about her work.

It took me two weeks to answer their call. “I was afraid of their response,” she remembers.

However, they’ve completely changed their minds and now genuinely stand for me. They wouldn’t have picked this line of work for me, but like most parents, they’re content as long as I’m content.

Sarah, Bonnie’s mother, is especially proud of her daughter now that she has seen how successful OnlyFans has been. In a recent podcast, she said that she was initially “gutted” but is now so supportive that she assists in promoting Bonnie’s orgies.

‘Uni students – bonk me and let me film it’ was the placard that Bonnie produced and distributed along with flyers and condoms on her sex tour of Nottingham Trent University in September.

Bonnie’s life now is very different from her modest childhood. She claims that OnlyFans has provided her with eight investment properties and financial independence, but she maintains that her close-knit network of friends has never changed.

I’ve only ever had a select few friends, and we’ve stayed in touch. “They adore my work; I’ve even hired a few of them,” she says.

“Being a sex worker is the only reason I have what I have, but I am so proud of it that I will never take the remark personally.”

Despite the support of her parents, Bonnie was the target of a barrage of criticism prior to her scheduled Schoolies orgy, which was first scheduled for the Meriton apartments on the Gold Coast. Parents and survivors of sexual abuse, including the campaigner Harrison James, accused her of engaging in “predatory behavior.” Peter van Onselen, the political editor of Daily Mail Australia, had criticized Immigration Minister Tony Burke for avoiding the matter, thereby pressuring him to take action, just one day before a decision was reached regarding her visa.

Bonnie seemed unconcerned. The parents of the “barely legal 18-year-olds” she has sex with, she informed me, need to be “thanking” her for “educating” their sons in the bedroom.

“I always send them off with condoms, and I love teaching them how to please a woman.”

“With me, they’re in a safer environment than they would be if they were engaging in casual, unprotected sex with a girl they just met.”

Bonnie emphasizes that all of her interactions are voluntary and that the males are of legal age. Along with having two kinds of identification that are photographed with their faces, they also have to sign a consent document. To make sure the boys aren’t drunk, police-grade breathalyzers are utilized.

Bonnie was determined to make the most money on her most recent trip to the Gold Coast before her Australian visa was revoked. She even teamed up with Annie Knight, another content maker who has been nicknamed “Australia’s most sexually active woman,” with the goal of having sex with hundreds of boys.

Now that Queensland is off the table, Bonnie is aiming to beat the record for the most guys she has slept with in a 24-hour period. 919 is the current record. Next year, she wants to blow that away.

Bonnie claims that she is dedicated to OnlyFans and that there is no deadline for her adult career.

“I don’t see anything wrong with it right now,” she informs me.

I wasn’t happy with how planned out my life was before [OnlyFans]. Right now, my only concern is whether or not I am happy today; I have no plans at all.

For example, am I interested in going to bed with a group of eighteen-year-olds? I’ll go ahead and do it if so. I’ll go hang out with my family if I wish to on that particular day. I thus take each day as it comes.

Bonnie is from a good home and is intelligent. She was brought up by two devoted parents and shows no signs of trauma. She was once married to a man who must have loved her very much.

Yet here she is, getting ready to try to set a global sex record that would test her physical boundaries.

“Why?” is a question I could ask Bonnie several times. I don’t think there’s a response that would appease her detractors.

Many people who are following her tale believe that there must be a secret reason why a decent young woman would choose this vile course. Bonnie isn’t telling, though.

Apart from the obvious—money—there might not be a reason. Perhaps there is, but Bonnie wants to maintain that secret above anything else in her life.
