Dad Of Missing Woman Who Disappeared From Airport Found Dead In His Car As Search Continues

We covered the bizarre and terrible disappearance of Hannah Kobayashi, a resident of Hawaii, last week. The 30-year-old was visiting relatives in New York City after leaving Haiku, Maui. However, she missed her subsequent trip in Los Angeles, and she hasn’t been contacted since.

Her family stopped communicating with her after she started sending them odd SMS. Hannah’s father, Ryan Kobayashi, was among the family members who journeyed from Hawaii to California in search of her. In a further unfortunate and strange development, Hannah’s father has now been discovered dead.

Near LAX, Ryan’s body was discovered.
Two weeks after his daughter first vanished, Ryan Kobayashi reportedly passed away in a parking lot close to LAX on Sunday, November 24, 2024, according to People. His age was fifty-eight. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner has confirmed the death, although no cause has been listed as of yet. The case remains unresolved.

A cause of death was provided by a group that was assisting the family in finding Hannah.

According to KTLA, a group that is assisting in Hannah’s search has issued a statement on the family’s behalf, even though the LAPD has not yet disclosed any information. “Today, the Kobayashi family suffered a terrible tragedy,” the RAD Movement wrote. Following 13 days of ceaseless searching across Los Angeles, Ryan Kobayashi, Hannah’s father, sadly committed suicide. The pain experienced by the family has been greatly exacerbated by this loss.
Since Hannah vanished, Ryan has been experiencing his “absolute worst nightmare,” according to a family member.
In order to help Ryan’s fiancée Li Jaena, a buddy started a GoFundMe page. The fundraiser’s coordinator, Emi Ko, said the following about the departed: Ko started, “Ryan was my uncle — a really amazing person who brightened every space with his optimism and good nature.” Since Hannah vanished, he has been living his worst fear, and now that he is dead, our family is experiencing unfathomable sorrow. On the flight was Hannah’s ex-boyfriend as well.
Hannah stands five feet ten inches tall, weighs around 140 pounds, has pale skin, freckles, and brown eyes and hair. According to HawaiiNewsNow, Hannah’s relatives said she had driven from Hawaii to LAX with her ex-boyfriend. Prior to their breakup, the two made the travel arrangements.

The ex claimed that they did not sit together and did not communicate on the journey, despite the fact that they have allegedly been very receptive and cooperative with the investigation. He flew to New York for his next stop. Hannah, meanwhile, went to a LeBron James event at The Grove in Los Angeles after missing her flight.

After that, she began sending strange texts to her relatives. According to her aunt, she expressed fear that someone might be attempting to steal her identity and money.
