Christian “King” Combs, Diddy’s son, received criticism for using the jailed rapper’s social media page on Wednesday to promote “positivity” in observance of his father’s birthday.
“We’re going to be posting videos, spreading good energy, taking y’all down memory lane, all the positive things he did,” Christian, 27, whose mother is the late Kim Porter, wrote in a video that he shared with Diddy’s 19.8 million followers.
However, despite Diddy’s arrest on federal accusations of conspiracy, sex trafficking, and transportation for prostitution, viewers were quick to criticise Christian for backing him.

This follows Diddy breaking his silence while incarcerated on Monday, November 4, when his kids called to wish him a happy 55th birthday.
After they wish him a happy birthday, Diddy is heard telling his kids that he is proud of them all and that he is “looking forward to seeing them soon” in a video that his 30-year-old son Justin Dior Combs posted.
In the video, Diddy’s two-year-old daughter Love, who he has with Dana Tran, joined siblings D’Lila and Jessie, 17, Quincy, 33, Christian, and Justin. They sang “happy birthday to daddy” and presented the incarcerated celebrity with a birthday cake.
Diddy is currently dealing with a fresh lawsuit alleging that he sexually assaulted a 13-year-old girl in 2000.
On the same evening, Diddy and Jennifer Lopez were seen fighting at a party before he and his group left.
The timing of the alleged incident, which is reported to have happened at a house later that night, adds a worrying dimension to the events of the evening and raises concerns about the dynamics of Diddy and Jennifer’s relationship at a time when serious claims are now overshadowing it.
After remaining together for five more months, the pair parted ways in February 2001.
Diddy allegedly “aggressively approached” the young girl with a “crazed look in his eyes” before sexually assaulting her, according to a recent court document obtained by DailyMail.com.
She says that as Diddy and an unknown female celebrity looked on, an unidentified male celebrity also sexually assaulted her. No indication exists that this woman was Jennifer.
The accusations have been refuted by Diddy. He “never sexually assaulted anyone,” according to his lawyers, who told DailyMail.com that the latest “barrage of filings” were nothing more than “clear attempts to garner publicity.”
Larry Levine, a prison expert, stated that Diddy receives daily visits from a psychiatric staff during an appearance on the popular podcast The Trial Of Diddy on DailyMail.com.
“He isn’t actually under suicide watch, but according to my insider there, someone visits him multiple times a day, you know, to check on him,” Levine said during the episode.

After two courts denied Combs’ release on bond, his attorneys are still attempting to get him out of jail and have appealed to the 2nd U.S. Circuit Court. On November 4, a hearing will be held to explore the issue.
