We’re thrilled to hear the fan who sold Taylor Swift her Kansas City Chiefs bomber jacket respond to the questions that fans have been asking.
On November 5, TikTok user @courttokslol shared on the platform that her family had sold her childhood Chiefs varsity jacket on eBay, only to discover later that it had ended up on Swift during the game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on November 4. She returned to the social media site to respond to questions from commenters regarding the jacket, selling it, and other topics.
Court broke down the chronology of all of this on TikTok, revealing that back in August, she and her family had sold the “rare” bomber jacket on eBay.

Taylor Swift Returns to Chiefs Stadium with a Hot WAG Supporting Travis Kelce in $2,195 boots and short shorts
She stated in her most recent TikTok that “we sold it this past August, so it’s definitely cool to see how many months are going into the planning of each of these outfits that she’s wearing,” and that the jacket’s distinctiveness undoubtedly increased its allure.
“It’s definitely a rare jacket, so, like, that’s why we even noticed in the first place that she was wearing it, because I think ours was the only one on eBay at the time when we listed it,” she continued. Therefore, it makes sense that Taylor and her stylist would have purchased this item from us if they had their eye on it. The fact that they’re browsing these secondhand websites and that they’re recycling old, vintage items is very amazing.
Court also responded to inquiries about the jacket’s size (it is a men’s small) and the reason behind her sale (it no longer fits and she is moving).
The ‘In My Chiefs Era’ patch on Travis Kelce’s jacket is a source of encouragement for Taylor Swift’s mother, Andrea.

Although she and her family have been selling on eBay for a while, this is the first time that devoted Chiefs supporters have discovered one of their goods in the possession of a famous person. Court hopes that this won’t be the last time.
“We have a few other Chiefs items listed and you better believe we’ll be watching for Taylor’s stylist’s name every time we sell one!” she exclusively tells PEOPLE. The jacket sold for $169, although she joked that some TikTok commentators suggested she should have sold it for more. However, she admits, “obviously when we listed we had no idea who would be buying it.”

Court, dressed suitably in Swift’s merchandise, said in her original video that she is a “longtime Swiftie” and was shocked to see the Grammy winner sporting a jacket that strikingly resembled one she and her family had just sold on eBay. However, she was aware that the buyer of the one they sold was not “Taylor Swift.”
When she looked up the buyer’s name, she discovered that it matched Swift’s stylist. She said her dad finally confirmed that they sold the jacket and shipped it from Kansas City to California.
She explained, “We checked and double checked, and not only is it the exact same jacket, but you can kind of see, like, a bend in it in the pictures that we had listed on eBay, and you can see that exact same bend in the picture of her wearing it.” “This cannot be made up.”
Swift paired the jacket with loose-fitting denim Agolde shorts, a black shirt, a black Dior saddle bag, and $2,195 thigh-high Christian Louboutin Santia Botta boots while she was at the game supporting boyfriend Travis Kelce.
