Mike Tyson Victory Was Getting Back in Ring … Says He Nearly Died in June

Less than twenty-four hours after his blatant defeat to Jake Paul at AT&T Stadium in Dallas, Mike Tyson claims he feels like a winner on Saturday.

While some may be dissatisfied with how things turned out, Tyson says he has no regrets because even taking part in the fight felt like a success. The boxing superstar took to X to share further thoughts on his comeback contest.

Tyson reveals that he lost 25 pounds and required eight blood transfusions after his near-death experience in June.

Tyson claimed that he had to put in a lot of effort to get well after leaving the hospital, so that in and of itself is a success.

MT continues by saying that he’s glad his kids witnessed him compete against a skilled fighter half his age in front of over 70,000 spectators, something he claims no man has the right to demand.

We’ve already told you about Tyson’s health concern. According to “Iron” Mike, he fainted during the flight from Miami to Los Angeles in May and, upon awakening, began throwing up blood in the restroom.

Inside The Freak-offs INLINE, Diddy
Tyson claims that after being taken from the airport to the hospital in a hurry, the doctors were alarmed and informed him that he had options, but Mike was afraid that this would be the last for him.

Mike claims that the reason he dropped so much weight was because he stayed in the hospital for 11 days and only drank liquids. Most people would have seen this as an indication to call off the upcoming fight, but Mike and Jake only postponed it, and Tyson is obviously glad they did.

Minutes after Mike wrote his tweet, Jake responded, calling him an inspiration and stating that it was a pleasure to fight him.

After a couple two-minute rounds with Paul, Tyson appeared unsteady. Jake has previously acknowledged that he took it easy on Tyson in the final moments out of concern that he might suffer a catastrophic injury.

Even though it was Mike’s seventh professional defeat, the Baddest Man on the Planet seems to enjoy every triumph just as much.
