However, it wasn’t just the 27-year-old YouTuber that emerged victorious.
The event became the biggest American boxing night outside of Las Vegas, which is hardly surprising given that it was “Iron” Mike’s first professional boxing battle in 19 years and there was a chance he would defeat a grumpy YouTuber.
There were a lot of eyeballs on the screen, with an estimated 70,000+ people swarming AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, and an additional 60 million households worldwide watching on Netflix.
And that meant publicity for the ring girls.

With her social media sites exploding with fans, one of the women has now spoken out about her experience competing against Tyson.
Sydney Thomas, who turns 21 later this month, had her moment in the spotlight after capturing the eye of onlookers with her gorgeous appearance.
Her viral fame caused her Instagram following to soar overnight, going from 236,000 to over 555,000. In fact, since Friday’s battle, Thomas’ Instagram following has increased by almost 365,730, according to social media analytics service Social Blade.

“Getting the opportunity to step into the ring with Mike Tyson and Jake Paul for such a historic fight is something I never imagined I’d be able to say,” she wrote on her page, sharing a picture of herself in the ring.
“This moment and my gratitude for being a member of such a fantastic team at Most Valuable Promotions are beyond words. I feel incredibly proud to have been a part of the making of history.
She even posted a post-fight film on TikTok to celebrate her newfound celebrity, and when she woke up, she saw that she was trending: “I’m trending for the Tyson vs. Paul fight… I’m glad the broadcast was enjoyable for you all,” she said.
Thomas has also been responding to supporters’ most pressing queries, according to News.com.au.
How she ended up becoming a ring girl for the biggest fight of the century is one of the most common questions she’s been asked.
“I was found through social media,” she claimed. “I did my first fight in Puerto Rico a month ago and Paul x Tyson was my second time in the ring!”
Thomas also disclosed that she intends to graduate a year early from the University of Alabama, where she is pursuing a degree in management with an emphasis on entrepreneurship. She takes all of her classes online.
“Being in the ring with Mike Tyson is definitely my favorite part of Friday night,” the bombshell continued. This opportunity comes only once in a lifetime. He truly is a legend.
I have a feeling that Thomas will be featured much more frequently in the near future!
