Trans activists have branded Olympic athlete Sharron Davies a ‘fanatic’ and a ‘homophobe’ after her shocking statement on transgender views

Sharron Davies says trans activists have targeted her children’s school because she expressed her opinions about who is allowed to play women’s sports.

The Olympian has allegedly been called a “bigot” and “homophobe” by activists.

Sharron Davies says trans activists have targeted her children’s school because she expressed her opinions about who is allowed to play women’s sports.

After speaking out against male-born athletes participating in female divisions, the former Olympic swimmer claims she has been called “every name under the sun.”

The decision to bar transgender cyclist Emily Bridges from competing against female cyclists on the grounds that “we are physiologically different people” was supported by the 60-year-old.

“Just activists calling every charity, every job I have, my kids’ schools, abusing my kids, and calling me every possible name,” Davies said on the Off Air program.

After speaking out against male-born athletes participating in female divisions, the former Olympic swimmer claims she has been called “every name under the sun.”

They claim that I am a bigot, a homophobe, and a clear transphobe. Because I have mixed-race children, I even find it funny that I’m a racist.

They bully others by using these terms, not because they mean them. They employ it to silence you and prevent you from attempting to discuss and explain the science.

According to Davies, many male sportsmen have not supported her in her fight against trans women participating in sports, and she has received misogynistic abuse.

“They keep their heads down because they don’t want it to affect their revenue,” she continued.

“Over the course of a weekend in 2017–2018, I got in touch with 60 of my friends in the sports industry.

Every single one of those is a household name and has won an Olympic medal or a world championship. Men made up over half of them.

Out of those 60, only five have ever raised their heads above the parapet.

Decathlete Daley Thompson, who is among the few who have spoken their opinions on the matter, has not experienced the same hatred, the swimmer continued.

“Daley has exactly the same opinions and says exactly the same things, and he receives a hundredth of the abuse I do,” she claimed.

The movement seems to be entirely focused on men’s rights. The phrase “be kind” has historically been used to disparage women.

However, what if you turned to guys and said, “Well, let’s show Lance Armstrong some consideration? It won’t matter that he was only slightly cheating. They would simply laugh in your face, saying, “Let him continue; he has only a 1% advantage over us.”
