Elon Musk is called a “insufferable nonsense propaganda puppet” by Jimmy Kimmel in a personal six-word reaction.

Jimmy Kimmel responded to Elon Musk’s recent harsh criticism without holding back.

Following Donald Trump’s historic victory in the 2024 US presidential election, Kimmel gave a moving monologue that upset many people, including tech tycoon Elon Musk.

In a clip that went viral, Kimmel discussed his feelings about the election results and the death of democracy on his show on Wednesday night.

Trump’s win was characterized as “a terrible night for women, for children, for the hundreds of thousands of hard-working immigrants who make this country go, for healthcare, for our climate, for science, for journalism, for justice, for free speech” by the late-night host, who was visibly moved by the overwhelming victory, during that opener.

Kimmel was referred to as a “insufferable nonsense propaganda puppet” by Musk, who just took control the social media site that was once known as Twitter but is now called X.

However, Kimmel responded during his Thursday night show with a combination of sarcasm, humor, and a highly personal jab.

“Last night, I shared some of my thoughts and feelings about what happened and how much I’m gonna miss democracy… and none more prominent than the richest man in the world, Elon Musk, weighed in,” Kimmel said.

Kimmel recited Musk’s criticism and then struck back with a six-word personal attack.

“At least my children like me,” he remarked.

Vivian Jenna Wilson, Musk’s transgender daughter, made this statement as she promised to flee the country now that Trump is the president-elect. “I no longer live with or wish to be related to my biological father in any way, shape, or form,” according to Reuters, indicating that Vivian has also cut ties with her father.

In the run-up to Election Day, Kimmel continued his offensive by attacking Musk’s involvement, saying: “The man who paid people $1 million a day to vote for Donald Trump is calling me a propaganda puppet. You purchased a social media site that is essentially a propaganda factory, Kermit. Listen up.

“If I spent two weeks trying to come up with a four-word description of Elon Musk, I don’t think I could do better than ‘insufferable nonsense propaganda puppet.'”

Kimmel continued her investigation into Musk’s past, highlighting multiple incidents in which he rejected reliable news sources like the New York Times and NPR as propaganda. Additionally, he brought up a previous post on Trump’s Truth Social platform in which he said Musk was very clingy while visiting the White House.

Trump stated in that specific 2022 post: “I could have told him to ‘drop to your knees and beg,’ and he would have done it,’ when he came to the White House asking me for help on all of his many subsidized projects, whether it’s electric cars that don’t drive long enough, driverless cars that crash, or rocketships to nowhere, without which subsidies he’d be worthless.” Musk also claimed to be a Trump supporter and Republican.

“Now Elon should focus on getting himself out of the Twitter mess because he could owe $44 billion for something that’s perhaps worthless,” Trump wrote in an additional post. “There is also fierce competition for electric vehicles.”

Although nasty, it appears that Musk and Trump have set aside their disagreements; in fact, during his victory address on Tuesday night, Trump even praised SpaceX’s most recent achievements.

Musk, who frequently posts contentious tweets, has not yet responded to Kimmel’s scathing rebuttal.
