Matt Gaetz is who? From 2017 until his resignation in November 2024, American politician Matt Gaetz represented Florida’s first congressional district as a U.S. Representative. He has been a fervent fan of former President Donald Trump and is well-known for his far-right political beliefs. The House Ethics Committee is currently looking into Gaetz’s involvement in a number of scandals, including claims of sexual misbehavior and illegal drug usage.
