Mike Tyson and Jake Paul will be suspended after Netflix fight regardless of the result

Regardless of the outcome, Mike Tyson and Jake Paul will both receive suspensions following tonight’s bout.

When Netflix holds its first-ever live broadcast at the 80,000-seat AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, the 27-year-old YouTuber turned boxer will face a 58-year-old Tyson.

The ‘old savage Mike’ is someone Paul claims he wants to battle and seems to be enjoying the struggle.
During last night’s weigh-in, Tyson slapped the content creator across the face, making it obvious that the “talking is done.”

Paul was shaken and remarked, “I didn’t even feel it, he’s angry,” as security rushed in to separate the combatants. He is a small elf who is furious.

“Mike Tyson, That was a lovely slap, friend, but you’re going to be knocked the f*** out tomorrow.

“I am completely destroying him, Ariel. He strikes with a b****. At this point, it is personal. He must be dead.

However, regardless of the outcome, this is not the reason why the two players would be suspended.

Paul claimed that his opponent was the one who pushed for the match to be a professional competition rather than a demonstration, as the Mirror reported.

Since then, the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation has enforced a requirement that the two be placed on rest leave for a minimum of seven days.

According to the regulations, each boxer will be required to take three days off after each round.

Given that the two will compete across eight rounds, this implies that they will each need to take a maximum of 24 days off.

Additionally, the boxer who loses by technical knockout (TKO) shall be suspended for at least 30 days.

According to the rules: “A participant may be medically disqualified for their own safety at the examining physician’s or TDLR’s recommendation.

“A contestant who disagrees with a medical disqualification, medical suspension or rest period set at the discretion of a ringside physician or a disqualification or suspension set by the department may request a hearing to show proof of fitness.”

You would believe that neither Paul nor Tyson would likely fight again in such a short time, even with the possible ban.

If you intend to watch this evening, the main event is scheduled to start at 4am our time, while the undercard bout between Mike Tyson and Jake Paul is scheduled to start at 1am our time.
