All of the Biggest Moments From the Final Weekend of Taylor Swift’s ‘Eras Tour’ Concerts

The memory of her cherished Eras Tour will always linger in the back of Taylor Swift’s mind.

From Friday, December 6 to Sunday, December 8, Swift, 34, played three sold-out shows at Vancouver’s BC Place to wrap up her concert tour. (The Grammy winner started Eras in March 2023 in Arizona and went on to perform hundreds of shows across continents.)

Swift told fans on Friday, “I’ve never toured longer or played more shows on tour than I have with the Eras Tour.” There are numerous explanations for this, such as the fact that no one is telling you backstage that you need to perform more. You have made this tour feel like so much more than a concert tour in so many ways that I have chosen to make it the longest I have ever done.

“I’ve been on tour since I was fifteen years old, and this has felt different in every way,” she added. Coming out to these crowds every night feels like an escape to a world where there is just happiness, passion, unity, and fraternity.

Swift also exclaimed that every Eras performance was an opportunity to “make new” memories and “relive [her] favorite memories” from previous tours.

Backstage News
Fans spotted (and posted pictures for social media) an enlarged production area prior to Swift’s Friday performance. The audience seemed to be covered by more cameras, some of which were sporting Kansas City Chiefs gear. In remembrance of Swift’s partner, a signed Travis Kelce jersey was part of one camera setup. A sticker with the Chiefs logo was attached to another piece of equipment. (There were other Chiefs mentions in Friday’s event as well, but more on that later.)

Action, Camera, Lights!

Two camera operators followed her around the stage during her Lover and Midnights phases of Friday’s performance. For footage used in Swift’s concert film, which debuted in theaters in October 2023, they last performed that in Los Angeles.

Experiencing nostalgia
During her performance on Friday, Swift admitted that the tour was coming to a close.

During her Lover segment, Swift said, “This is a little-known fact, not many people know this, it hasn’t been talked about very much.” “On the Eras Tour, Vancouver is actually the final city we play in.”

Expressing gratitude

The guy on the Chiefs is Karma.
Swift also demonstrated her support for Kelce’s NFL team, as evidenced by the Chiefs merchandise that filled the stadium. She wore the red-and-gold Cavalli two-piece that she had previously showcased in Paris for her 1989 performance on Friday. During “So High School,” Swift also made sure to strike an archery position. (Kelce famously enters every home football game while feigning to shoot a bow and arrow.)

The clock is ticking.
While singing “He never thinks of me / Expect when I’m on TV” from “Midnight Rain,” Swift strikes a variety of (and occasionally goofy) positions. She began a countdown from No. 4 while in Toronto late last month and finished at No. 2 on Friday.

Family Time
Swift was seen hugging her parents, Scott and Andrea, at the conclusion of the performance on Friday. Throughout the tour, both of her parents have been regulars at the performances. They also assisted her in adorning her Fearless guitar.
