BREAKING NEWS! Horrific accident!

In Manitoba, Canada, a bus carrying senior passengers collided with a truck, sadly killing at least 15 people. The incident took place on the Trans-Canada Highway close to Carberry, west of Winnipeg. Ten individuals, including both drivers, were taken to the hospital with serious injuries, according to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP).

According to eyewitness John Proven, the scene was a “huge accident,” with a semi-truck nearby that had significant damage to its front end and a car in flames. When the terrible accident occurred, the bus was transporting elderly people from Dauphin to the Sand Hills Casino in Carberry. Twelve more ambulances and an air ambulance were among the emergency services that were promptly sent out.

Despite the fact that the truck had the right-of-way, authorities are still investigating why the bus entered the vehicle’s lane. Since the investigation is still underway, no culpability has been placed at this time, RCMP Superintendent Rob Lasson stressed.

The 2018 Humboldt Broncos bus tragedy in Saskatchewan, which claimed 16 lives, has been compared to this accident. Because of the parallels between the two tragedies, Manitoba officials have asked those working on the Humboldt inquiry for help.

The CEO of the transportation company in question, William Doherty, pledged his full cooperation with the investigation and conveyed his profound sadness. “The Day & Ross team’s thoughts are with those who have lost loved ones in this terrible incident,” he told CTV News.
“We are hopeful that the injured will get better.” “We will fully cooperate with the investigation and offer any assistance and support that we can,” Mr. Doherty continued.

Among those who sent sympathies was Prime Minister Trudeau. “This is very bad news from Carberry, Manitoba. I’m thinking of the injured and giving my sincerest sympathies to those who lost loved ones today. Although I can’t fathom the suffering endured by those impacted, Canadians are here to support you.

Many of the dead resided in the close-knit hamlet of Dauphin, which has been devastated by the catastrophe. “Almost everyone in town knew someone who was on that bus,” stated Mayor David Bosiak.

It’s a huge tragedy for our small community, and there is a general sense of shock.

“It’s a punch to the gut and a kick to the teeth.”

We sincerely apologize for the lives lost in this unfortunate occurrence.
