According to PEOPLE, the well-known American actor Richard Gere sold his Connecticut mansion for about $11 million. He intends to move to Spain. The 75-year-old actor, who is regarded as one of the sexiest men on the planet, paid $10.8 million for the New Canaan house in 2022, which is $50,000 more than the amount at which he recently sold it. The singer-songwriters Paul Simon and Edie Brickell, who had originally bought it for $16.5 million and suffered a large loss, sold it to him.

For two years, Gere and his wife, Alejandra Silva (41), resided on the property, and at one point, Gere thought about converting it into a farm. Constructed in 1938, the mansion spans 32 acres and has six bedrooms, eleven bathrooms, a pool, several gardens, and a guest cottage with three bedrooms.

Gere recently revealed that he intends to relocate abroad, thus this transaction is a step toward his new life in Spain. Since their 2018 marriage, he and his wife Silva have lived in the US.
